problem with slack 9 and evolution
 

Ok I followed the instructions for installing evolution on slack 9. My problem happens when I try to install gtkhtml, It keeps telling me it can't find the gnome configuration lapplet libraries 1.0. I am assuming this is Gconf. well I had already installed gconf-1.0.9 before so i even tried installing gconf-1.0.0 and gtkhtml still won't compile. Anyone else have this problem?

What is the exact error message? Is it in your current path? Have you tried passing at configuration to point to the directory where its installed at?
I think most of the time in Slack its located in /opt/gnome/bin by default.
