Problem with running btdownloadcurses

Hello,I'm very new to linux and I would like a little help in order to get Bittorrent running.

-I used installpkg to install the extra package successfully

-when I want to open a torrent from my browser,I click on it,browse to find btdownloadcurses.py and open it and after a short loading time nothing happens.

Right now, only btdownloadXterm.sh works.I prefer it,but my girlfriend doesn't like consoles and it's her computer.

I must be doing something wrong.

Thanks in advance

btdownloadcurses is console based too, you'd need to run it through a console.

Also, can I change the default save directory for btdownloadcurses.py?

I still can't get the gui the work.

I tried installpkg and with Kpackage, searched all over the place but found no similar problems.

Anyone care to take a guess?

Try getting the 2.6.1 pygtk package from here: http://www.linuxpackages.net/search_...pygtk&ver=10.1
If i'm not wrong that package is needed in order to run btdownloadgui.py.

If you want a pretty GUI as reddazz suggested, you should try Azureus.

I did, that's why I said "also", I think i should've expressed better.
I'll change the sentence from "If you want a pretty GUI i would also suggest you Azureus." to "If you want a pretty GUI as reddazz suggested, you should try Azureus."
Hope we are allright

Sorry for not responding earlier and bumping this thread just to thank you guys.

I installed pytgtk and everything works like a charm.Azureus is great, but like I said,I really like the shell client

Don't worry,I'll still bother you guys with my newcomer Q's sooner or later.
