Problem with pkgtool


Hi i already update my slackware with swaret --upgrade and now i 've this problem when i try to remove some packages with pkgtool:

The packages have benn remove. A complete log og the files that were removed has been created in /var/log/setup/tmp:
PKGTOOL.REMOVED.
the file PKGTOOL.REMOVED is this:

No such package: /var/log/setup/tmp/rmscript:. Can't remove.
No such package: line. Can't remove.
No such package: 1:. Can't remove.
No such package: /bin/dialog:. Can't remove.
No such package: Lista. Can't remove.
No such package: degli. Can't remove.
No such package: argomenti. Can't remove.
No such package: troppo. Can't remove.
No such package: lunga. Can't remove.
root@Neo:/var/log/setup/tmp$

Try reinstalling and never using swaret?

try reinstalling the packages using something like

upgradepkg --install-new --reinstall pkgname.tgz
then uninstall them

and be careful when using package managers, as gnashley says

Tuche'... I always laugh when I see these kind of posts. One can only hope that leasons are learned from expierences like this. pkgtool is such a great package manager. It's a shame people don't use it more....
