Problem With Cups
Hi, I'm Using Epson C90 Printer At Slackware 12.
Somehow, I Met Trouble When Print. It Says Printer Not Connected. Then I Do Something And It Work But Not With My Bluetooth. I Fix My Bluetooth But Printer Is Troubled Again. Can Anyone Help? |
As root go to /etc/cups/cupsd.conf
set it to log in debug LogLevel debug restart cups check the log when it fails tail /var/log/cups/error_log also dmesg may help |
Thanks for the post.
I already fix my problem through a hard way. I re-install my slackware, then I try printing using any driver from CUPS. It print characters, but at least I know it works, then I compile gutenprint 5.1.4 then I change the driver from kprinter, using epson c79 or c68, both works fine. Then I print test page, and it works ! Yay :) So I try install my kdebluetooth, and it doesnt works( I type lsusb and it print broadcomm bluetooth) . I assume that somehow there's conflict between usb printer and usb dongle bluetooth. The funny thing is I using another bluetooth dongle and it works(I forget what is shown when I type lsusb but I'm sure it wasn't broadcomm). |
