problem installing mysqldb for python

I can't install MySQLdb for python on my slackware 9.1 machine. The compile script reports that it can't find the libraries yet the libs are all located in their proper places

Please help.

Ok dudes figured it out after spending whole evening searching the net.

It seems the standard MySQL and python installations in Slackware 9.1 are only compatible with MySQLdb 0.9.3

1. Go to http://www.zope.org/Members/adustman/Products/MySQLdb
2. download MySQL-python-0.9.3b1.tar.gz from that location.
3. Follow download instructions in README in the package.
