problem compiling gtkglextmm

I'm trying to compile gtkglextmm as a dependency for another program. When I run the slackbuild, it gives me the following error:

Code:
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for BASE_DEPENDENCIES... configure: error: Package requirements (gtkglext-1.0 >= 1.0.0 gdkglext-1.0 >= 1.0.0 gtkmm-2.4 >= 2.4.0 gdkmm-2.4 >= 2.4.0 pangomm-1.4 >= 2.4.0 ) were not met:

No package 'gtkglext-1.0' found
No package 'gdkglext-1.0' found
I have installed the gtkglext package available on slackbuilds.org, which is version 1.2. I can't figure out why it isn't recognizing the package. I tried adding the LDFLAGS tag to the script as suggested in the slackbuilds.org FAQ for multilib systems, with the same result. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

You are missing more than just gtkglext.

Package requirements (

gtkglext-1.0 >= 1.0.0
gdkglext-1.0 >= 1.0.0
gtkmm-2.4 >= 2.4.0
gdkmm-2.4 >= 2.4.0
pangomm-1.4 >= 2.4.0

) were not met:

Each of these has it's own set of deps like gtkmm needs mm-common, pangomm, and atkmm.

I think it was saying that those were all the package requirements, while the two it specifically pointed out were the ones I was missing. Even if that's not the case, I do have all them.

just curious based on what it said about pangomm-1.4 >= 2.4.0
Is that saying you have pangomm 1.4 installed and need at least 2.4.0?

"pangomm-1.4 >= 2.4.0" means : Must be version 2.4.0 or later.

The 'pangomm' version for Slackware 13.37 is "2.28.1".
"pangomm-1.4" is the name of the "package configuration file" :
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/pangomm-1.4.pc

.

I have stock Slackware 13.37 with multilib (which is actually irrelevant for this discussion). If you properly compile and install all the dependencies and their subdependencies gtkglextmm will compile just fine. In fact, I just did it while typing this post.

I uninstalled and reinstalled gtkglext (both in sbopkg) and now gtkglextmm compiles and installs. Odd, but things like that happen I guess. Marking as solved.
