Pro Wireless Solution?
 

I was doing a little digging and i came across a post in another linux based forum which mentioned that www.linuxant.com was a solution for pro wireless issues and also wireless g issues as well. i was just curious to know if anyone else tried this solution out as yet because they require you to get a valid license key from their store for $19.95 to be implemented with the install.

Is this worth it or will there be a free solution to this issue that is plaguing the linux community?

Well i only posted it because i was wondering if anyone has any feedback on it and what others thought about it because i really was looking at for the pro wireless support (Centrino)

I'm sorry, but I haven't heard anything else but the linuxant solution about getting Centrino WLAN cards working under Linux.

I have a Centrino laptop with this card. For the moment I am using my old wireless pcmcia card when in Linux. Intel swears that they are working on a LInux driver for this card, but it is not ready yet. Personally, I think that they should give all the specs to programmers in the community so that they can create a driver for it. It's not like there is anything to protect about a run-of-the-mill 802.11b card. I suppose that Intel could be embarrased by how behind the curve they are in the development of wireless chipsets, but everyone knows that already.
