Preserve boot output ?
 
Hi,

How do I preserve boot output ?
I mean a lot of text lines whitch are output before I get login prompt.

It is preserved:
- between two reboots, in the kernel ring buffer (see dmesg command)
- in /var/log/messages as long as it is not erased (but the very beginning)

If you log in a console (not GUI) you also access it with shift + page up / page down

If you need it you can configure your kernel in order to increase the size of the kernel ring buffer
