pppsetup : How to insert modem init string


How to insert modem init string AT+CMUX=F,1;AT&C2+CRM=135 using pppsetup. i tried AT+CMUX=F,1;"AT&C2"+CRM=135 but failed after cmd ppp-go -d.

You can edit
/etc/ppp/options
to include your favorable init string along with other things that are particular to your hardware and ISP.

That is how I have done it. The full instructions for doing this are in the PPP-HOWTO at http://www.tldp.org (it is listed as a "Guide"). That is a really helpful book
