plus sign on ls -l for a directory created by slackware packaged samba
Hi - I am puzzled.
Recently I started using the samba 3.2.15 (package) from slackware and noticed on profiles that a ls -l would give me drwx------+. Accounts created before using a samba 3.2.15 (and earlier) that I compiled into /usr/local/samba the premissions would be just drwx------.
This appears related to acl's.
Is this compiled into the samba package?
Does slackware do anything with acl's?
I have been having some registry problems using the profiles created before I ran the packaged samba. I seem to have to delete the profile in samba and the client and login to get a new profile. In the new profile the pluses start appearing on directory names.
Thanks,
