Please help me install Steam on Salix OS


i found this http://taper.alienbase.nl/mirrors/pe...s/steamclient/ -- Steamclient 1.0.0.39 package for Slackware 14

i use Salix OS http://salixos.org

So, you found the package. Did you also install it? That package is the only thing you need. Well, that, plus Slackware!

If it does not work on Salix, go ask on their forum. Hint: if you are running a 64-bit OS then you'll need multilib.
