Please don't access 'Slackware.com' for a while. Maintenance

Hi,

Earlier Alien_Bob requested that we should not load/hammer 'Slackware.com' for a while. That request was at 15:37 07-08-09;

It is back only to recover the data from the drives. Please do not hammer it.

In the meantime, http://slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/ is being redirected to my mirror at http://slackware.org.uk/people/alien/slackbuilds/ because my repository causes most of the load on that server. The rest of http://slackware.com/~alien/ is readily available (it is also mirrored at the same slackware.org.uk server)

Eric
I have responded to several posts with inquiries about 'Slackware.com'. I think we should respect the request. I'm sure they will let us know when things are good to go.

Just a small detail...

It seems the "favicon.ico" file is missing (the blue circle with the "S") or is it just not showing up in my browser?

Indeed it is
I started Opera and it showed up.

I had to close & open Firefox for the icon to appear again.

Sorry for the confusion
