pkg-config problem
Hey guyz,
When I used Fedora, if I type pkg-config gtkmm-2.0, I will get many results. Of course I have to install gtkmm first. Now, in Slackware after installing gtkmm by source, pkg-config gtkmm-2.0 command give nothing. That means I can not learn gtkmm programming in Slackware. So what's wrong??? I try pkg-config gtk, pkg-config atk, pkg-config gtk+. They all give me nothing. Thank you. |
Do you have all the necessary libraries and other supporting software installed?
I don't think Slackware will complain about dependencies like an RPM-based system will. |
I followed the instructions from www.gtkmm.org . First, libsigc++ which I install by source then the gtkmm it self. Yes, I think I have install the necessary libraries and other supporting software.
