permission


hi
i have asked before how to make users see ntfs drives and sombody told me to change permission
i tried so
i clicked right click to the driver and chosed permission and view and then ok it then show me aprogress par that took a lot of time i get nervese and close it isnt there any easier method for that

This is what I have in /etc/fstab:

This is what you should put into your /etc/fstab so that the Windows partition is automatically mounted at boot time with each of your users being able to see it.
Of course you must adapt it to put the right partition (hda1 in my example).

i have read that the last 2 coulms if put in them 2 it will be mounted
i tried them but there was no use
then what are the last 2 coulmns for
