Alright, I guess I will update it for SBo later, thanks for testing it! If don't mind can you also check if the update-mine-database command works?

Sure just run it through term & post output? Ill run it when I get back home.

Yea, you can just run it in the terminal as root, log out and then back in. It should either do nothing or maybe also fix that issue. I will update it on SBo either way though.

Ran the command, nothing output, restarted and everything seems to be working fine. Not really sure it did to be honest.

Did you try that with the version at SBo?

Thanks, but I'm starting to think that command likely will not solve the problem and is not relevant to pcsx2 as it should not have anything in directories like /usr/share/mime. Its likely a pcsx2 issue that has since been resolved and I just need to update the slackbuild.
