Just went to run The GIMP and received this error message:
Quote:
iblcms2 version mismatch!

GIMP was compiled against LittleCMS version 2.2, but the
LittleCMS version found at runtime is only 2.0.

Somehow you or your software packager managed
to install a LittleCMS that is older than what GIMP was
built against.

Please make sure that the installed LittleCMS version
is at least 2.2 and that headers and library match.

Either way it refuses to start and displays the same error message.
I can't remember the last time I had trouble with The GIMP, but, then,
since I found XnViewMP, I don't use The GIMP much anymore. However,
it is the latest version provided for -current (which is up-to-date).

Apologies for resurrecting this old thread which I started back in 2017.

Same problem happens with gimp 2.10.24 in Current
The following will extract all images from page 20 to 40 in PPM format, to the pdf-images directory in $HOME:
Code:
pdfimages -f 20 -l 40 input.pdf ~/pdf-images/
pdfimages gives you a list of options. Saving to PNG, JPEG, etc.

.

What I'm trying at the moment is to clear the clipboard with

Quote:
xsel -cb
between copies. Seems to work up to a point, not sure if I've worked out what that point is!

Well, as I keep -current updated, almost to the minute, I assumed lcms2-2.12 was installed,
but upon checking /var/lib/pkgtools/packages, only lcms2-2.11 was installed. As I do the
upgrades "the old fashion way," "by hand," I somehow missed the lcms2-2.12 upgrade on 8 February.
Thanks for the heads up.
