partitioning

Ok I have this machine (Desktop) with sata harddrives. Im trying to get windowsxp on it, I know this is a linux form but as soon as i do I can get partition magic running and stick in slackware. What partition types should i have for windows to work ? Fat16 ? HTPS/NTFS ? any ideas ?
Thanks

fat, ntfs.

if the drive is blank. use the XP install to partition. Leave whatever space you want for linux blank. Then just install slack to the free space..

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
