PaleMoon.SlackBuild as found on SlackBuilds.org, this concerns Slackware current

It came to my attention that Pale Moon would not compile on Slackware current using gcclegacy494.SlackBuild (gcc 4.9.4) that I maintain at SlackBuilds.org. This lead me to clean up the gcclegacy494 SlackBuild a little. I posted a little blog entry here on linuxquestions.org about this https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...current-37595/

I'm not 100% happy with the state of the "fix" and its for that reason I'm just posting about it here and on that blog entry. I'm still looking for a cleaner way to fix this issue. You likely will understand what I mean if you take a look at the blog post. But the good news is, for anyone wanting to build Pale Moon with gcc 4.9.4 on Slackware current, there is at least a way to do it.

Thanks for your efforts creating this SlackBuild for Pale Moon.

An alternative for some (myself being one) is to just download the Pale Moon binary and run from /opt. Works fine on my Slack 14.1. I can't speak for 14.2, though.

Regards,

~Eric

Found a better fix and applied a conditional fix for glibc 2.26. I submitted changes to SBo.
