packages tries to rewrite rc.4 script

Hi,
I'm running slackware-current and I noticed that certain packages (qt, qt4, libplist) rewrites /etc/rc.d/rc.4 to it's original state. I modified my rc.4 to start SLiM (Simple Login Manager) before GDM/KDM/XDM and these packages just overwrite it. Fortunately, with slackpkg I don't have to apply these changes, but it's annoying to deny it every time.

I guess it's not entirely -current related, since qt3-3.3.8b appeared long time ago in extra/kde3-compat, but I can't tell for sure or test it right now (all my machines run -current)

Is this bug or feature?

# grep rc.d/rc.4 /var/log/packages/*
/var/log/packages/sysvinit-scripts-1.2-noarch-36:etc/rc.d/rc.4.new

Only package I see that touches it is sysvinit-scripts as one would expect (and even that creates it as a .new)

As long as you do not remove that "/etc/rc.d/rc.4.new" file from your computer, slackpkg will keep asking if it should apply that file. That has nothing to do with qt, qt4 or other packages.

Eventually I figured it out when I tried few other packages (and carefully read slackpkg "collision" options), but your reply was faster. Sorry for the mystery ;-)

Thanks for cool trick! I always wandered what is inside these /log/packages/* files and finally I know.
