First, get a copy of this http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk
This will allow you to restore your original Slackware installation.

Then, I suggest that you move your Slackware to your second partition and reinstall XP on your first partition.

Windows operating systems expect to reside on the first partition of the primary drive. Break from this at your peril!

You can use the installation DVD. Boot from this DVD and select installation paths without formatting disk partitions. Then start to setup, but do not select packages. By using space bar remove the selection stars in front of the package groups and go on the setup, then configuration menu will appear consisting LILO setup menu. By using lilo configuration menu you can reinstall lilo adding Slackware and Windows.

put your slackware disk in and read what the first thing it says. and type it just like that then after your started and in run level 3 as root type lilo and your back to normal. after your up and running go into your boot manager in kcontrol center and set lilo up to load other type of system windows. thank Pat for adding that option on to the disk for the hugesmp kernel users.
