I still remember the first time I installed Slackware around 98. Can't believe it has been almost 20 years.

Congrats on the longevity anniversary... Slackware has always been a fantastic distribution and I'm sure it will continue that way. Thanks for all the work you continue to put into it!

Cheers, Patrick!
I've tried Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat, and Gentoo. I keep coming back to Slackware.

Here, On n'a pas tous les jours 20 ans is sung in 1934, year of its creation, by Berthe Sylva. Lyrics by Charles-Ferdinand Pothier, music from Léon Raiter.

Excellent idea from several above to donate/get a subscription or just buy something from the Slackware store... let's all pitch in and support. Stop being slackers and start being Slackers.

Praise Bob
and Thanks Pat! You have a great name.
Slackware somehow has me weeping less over software Freedom lately.
It's a comfort to still have slackers around (and thanks Jeremy, for LQ).
Keep slacking!

I'm hoping to see a 20th anniversary shirt in the Slackware store.
Appreciate how much easier the last decade has been since I stopped having to mess with my computers and just use them. Thank you!
