OpenOffice Quickstarter

Hi,
I installed Openoffice 1.1 on Slackware 9.1
Does anyone know how to get the Quickstarter on the desktop bottom.
(you can right click on it to open/start doc types I think)
In SuSE there was a quickstarter in the K-menu you could run and it set up.
In KDE I can creat a short-cut but not same thing.
Also in Gnome Openoffice does not set up in menu, but folder is in user giving me an ugly start. Is there a quickstarter for Gnome also?

Thanks

(still haven't read that Slack book yet, but am learning bit-by-bit, got Java to install: was simple and made sense once I found the right file)

Howdy: Here's a slackpack

http://www.linuxpackages.net/search_...=oooqs&ver=9.1

just install it like you would any other package (su -c "installpkg blah")

This is for KDE, to my knowledge there isn't one available for Gnome. I wish there was, though :-)

Her's one for Gnome http://ooqstart.sourceforge.net/ I will try later tonight.
It don't look too knew though. SuSE has some gnome quickstarter rpm too:
I wonder if it's possible to use it some how.
