Openoffice ç not working


Im using openoffice 2 installed using the rpm packages, its working nice in my slack but when I try to type ç its outputs ć I dont know why this is happening, im using USInternational with DeadKeys in my layout and this only happens with openoffice... anyone knows why?

Can you insert the character manually via Insert->Special Character?

Slack is a bit funny about fonts...check out the Font Deuglification HOWTO to se how to make Slackware's fonts sretty:
