openimageio Slackbuild issue with picking up python on one pc but not other
 

I have installed the requisite libraries for openimageio slackbuild
https://slackbuilds.org/repository/1...s/openimageio/

My desktop gives this error:

The Slackbuild worked great on my laptop. Also I could compile openimageio from source without a problem. I reinstalled python2 and python3. I'm not sure what to do or what the problem is.

Are the symlinks the same in both boxes?

Yes! They are both pointing to python2.7

I was able to build it from source on my desktop but I'll try your suggestion ;)

I rebuilt everything in that order but python3 is still not being picked up the openimageio slackbuild.

can you try to list other SBo packages installed on your system besides the above packages?
