Only one sound at time

Hi,

Only one app can use my sound card at time.
This is the alsa-info:
http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=4f...ef3eef8759b2e7

There's a lot of errors like that in the Internet but none really present a solution, seems like this is an old problem that has been solved a while ago by alsa, but not here.

Or you can use a dmix device. See http://alsa.opensrc.org/index.php/AlsaSharing

File /etc/rc.d/rc.alsa, lines 76 and 90 contain "load_alsa_oss_modules". Comment those two lines out by adding # in the first column. In addition, create file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-oss.conf with this content:
Code:
blacklist snd_pcm_oss
blacklist snd_seq_oss
blacklist snd_mixer_oss
The oss emulation has not been needed for years, and it blocks sound for other applications.

Problem solved, I was testing with mpd and xmms, but mpd was set to hw 0,0, I just changed to default and It`s all working.

Thank you all for helping!
