One question (I am confused)
Why is this thread sticky and not this one? (The latter contains pretty much everything about the bash issue + many other security issues).
I also think sticking a thread for one security issue is overkill

Hello.
Merging the two threads was a mistake. It now interleaves two different conversation flows which makes things difficult to
follow.
Here are two examples of others who are finding it as confusing as I do: example #1 & example #2.
I see no benefit - can this be undone?
