odd sound problem
Hey guys,
I have a SB Audigity 2 ZX plat pro (emu10k1) sound card. All PCM sounds work everywhere, but here is where it gets a little odd.
DOSbox = MIDI sound (it picks up the right interface) alsa 17:0
WINE = No midi sound (even with a reg hack)
KDE = No midi sound
Virtual Terminal = No Midi sound
I do have asfxload installed and I am loading the soundfont, I have unmuted the Synth volume.
When I cat the emux_synth file in proc it tells me that the soundfont has been loaded.
So how is this even possible? One program can detect and use it properly and all of linux cannot?
