Odd message when logging in to kde

Hello,

I am getting an odd message when I log onto kde/linux. The message asks me to enter root privileges to run a script tmp/tmpnPRq99

The script appears to be the following:

Quote:
#!/bin/bash
chown -h -R 1007 "/home/alan/Dropbox"
chmod -R u+rw "/home/alan/Dropbox"
echo Donealan@Lavankossot
I am suspicious of this and wonder if it is legitimate or some sort of trojan. How can I stop this coming up every time I log on? BTW /tmp on my PC is in RAM.

Thanks

How did you install dropbox? And I would check your ~/.kde/Autostart folder to see if there's any scripts in there.

I installed dropbox ages ago, probably with sbopkg.
