nvidia problems

I don't know if this is the right place.. and I'm pretty much a newbie so umm

I installed slackware 9.1 recently and went at the nvidia setup.

Everything seemed to work fine at first, running startx and loading up an x session. But then I tried to load a second one via 'xinit -- :2'

This is when it blanked to black and then back to my text console giving me this little error:

(II) NVIDIA(0): AGP 2X successfully initialized
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to allocate external video decoder object
(EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting ***

Fatal server error:
AddScreen/ScreenInit failed for driver 0

------

I run a nvidia TNT2, I disabled agpgart and am using NvAGP.

I did all of what I thought I needed to do on the XF86Config file and I've tried reinstall the nvidia drivers.

I'm out of ideas. Help anybody?

Thanks much in advance,
- mifrai

If you are using the binary drivers from the Nvidia site, I suggest you look on this site for an answer. I know they've had issues with running multiple X sessions in the past.

Yeah, I looked through it and couldn't find anybody with the same problem. I've posted as well and I'm just waiting on an answer. Thanks for the suggestion
