Nvidia GeForce Ti200

Im having problem with getting my grafics card get installed. Ihave downloaded the drivers for ite and installed it as instructed (make install on the to drivers GLX and kernel). And the some one said to me that I have to change in XF86Config file and enable GLX and rename the original kernel driver for nvidia from nv to nvidia, but when i do this and run startx it complains about GLX and nivida.
How do I make my new drivers work?
As in the subject line I have a Nvidia geforce ti200 card.

Could you copy the error message? It may be thet you installed the wrong package (one of the two). Have you tried NVchooser?

You did something wrong, it WILL work, it has never really failed anyone here on my floor when I installed theirs...and thats 13 Nvidia cards, so you have to be doing something wrong... NVCHooser isnt going to help either, we need the error message.
