nVIDIA drivers for linux & Slackware 9

When I try to install the nvidia drivers, i get an error message saying about the "not identifying the kernel interface"
I have the one CD of Slackware (is it only one, should I install a package from there?)
thank you..

Celestia ROCKS (anyway..)

It should attempt to connect to the internet to download the kernel interface, or else compile it's own.

Yes, sorry. It says sth about kernel-header. I managed to go with the --kernel-include-path=/usr/include

hope it won't freeze (cause I read things in nvForum about slack 9 X and nvidia freezing..)

Lot's of people say nv drivers are useless but i've had no problems. Just read the README!

Oh yes and install kernel source and headers first!

I use the nvidia driver installer (NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4349.run) with great success on slackware 9 and current and various debian distros. It seems to download what it needs.

Kernel source is a must to install these drivers succesfully (or you must have valid Internet connection).
For me it works great.
