Question nvidia driver in slackware 8.1

helo slackers !

I would like an complete guide on how to install
the nvidia '3D-driver' on slack 8.1

I have not made any modifications off the kernel, it's 'out off the box' . . .

Talking nvidia working !
Thank for the help !

I was trying to install while running X, (bad idea...)

DId the make install, when I was in the console, the X server started succesfully at first try !
