NTFS write on slack
 
hello !!

i have on my computer to systems.. windows xp on an ntfs file system and linux slackware 9.1

my questions is:

how can i write no the ntfs file system ? the ntfs is unfortunetly read only when it is mounted on slack.

what can i do to have write acces to it?

You'll have to recompile your kernel, or at least recompile the module.

Don't expect anything great...

Isn't the NTFS write support only for overwriting files, and only apply if the two files have the exact same size? I'm pretty sure that's what I read for write support for NTFS for 2.6.x so far, unless I'm just recalling 2.6.0
