NTFS Harddrive Gone after recompile.

I recently did a recompile on my 2.4.31 kernel so I could install my Nic Card modules. After that recompile I lost my soundcard and my Windows Sata harddrive. That drive has my music. So now I got my alsa working. But Slack wont recognize my ntfs hard drive. I tried re mounting and i get this

Code:
Quote:
root@babylon-razor:~# mount -a
mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device
root@babylon-razor:~#
thanks!

Its just a simple thing you overlooked, that unfortunately will cost you time. You forgot to add support for ntfs (read only) Doh! Its no big deal, you just have to go back to your kernel config, and make sure you have enabled support for ntfs, either within the kernel, or by module, which would be called ntfs. The only pain now, is going through the compiling again, but other than that, it will work again.
