notebook hp dv8378ea with slackware 12 black screen on 1st boot

i have this problem since slackware 11 in this mobile at 11 i just removed the undev/hotplug package when i neaded the pcmcia to work the problem is very simple actualy this 2 things cant work together if they are at the sistem working during the boot the screen goes black and dmesg doesn't show any thing useful for me i was hopping the slackware 12 solved this but it didn't i have 2 kernes the default 2.6.21.5-smp and the 2.6.21.5 recompiled by me.
the pcmcia uses the yeeta module and pcmciautils pakage in orther to work i wonder if it was the instalation so i tryd some live cd's slax, also gives the same i have to boot with the nopcmcia option on.

i hope anyone could help me with this and point me some directions so that i could see this problem solved.

thanks for your time.
