I'm still having the same issues - There must be some seriously currupted ISO's out there if you are having the same problem i am???

I don't see how you can make a linux boot disk from Windows.

Do you know anyone who has slack installed that could make a boot disk image for you?

you can boot from the slackware CD. just follow instructions at the prompt. then make a boot disk if you want (/sbin/makebootdisk). if you're not putting a bootloader on your windows partition, it also would be a good idea to make a grub or lilo diskette that you could boot from.
