No xorg.conf when installing nVidia driver.

I've downloaded and installed nVidia driver (sh NVIDIA...sh). Everything installed fine but I have no xorg.conf.
My question is: Is this ok or should I create it in order to setup things such as vertical and horizontal frequency for my monitor or it is not necessary at all?

Thanks again,

cd /etc/X11/
cp xorg.conf-vesa xorg.conf

Then run NVIDIA-....
and let the installer modify your xorg.conf (you must choose yes when it asks you).

The best way to create a xorg.conf for NVIDIA is IMO:
a) nvidia-xconfig
b) X -configure
c) xorgsetup

with that order
