No window borders on startup

I wanted to try the default compiz package that was installed in Slack12 and i did a "compiz --replace". The window borders dissapeared so i had to do an "xfwm4 --replace" to get them back.

I uninstaled compiz from the pkgtool but everytime i reboot or ctrl-alt-backspace to reload xfce it starts up without window borders and i have to manually do "xfwm4 -restart".

I've set that as an autostart script but there must be a way around this somehow...

Remove/clear the cache folder in your home directory:

rm -r ~/.cache

That did it. Thanks :)

You're welcome. I was stuck with that myself today :)
