definitely, me too...

but i was actually refering to the source, not the binaries... my point was that by using the slackware seamonkey build script, you are using the same exact source you would be using if you got the source directly from mozilla.com...

Yeah, the source would be the same. Pat doesn't modify any of the source that goes into slackware packages which is why it's sometimes called a "pure Linux distro". I was more or less referring to the build script. I'm not sure what all is in it but it looks like it was configured to use some dependencies not in Slack-10.2. As far as the source package goes, it's all the same. Whether you download from a Slackware mirror or a Mozilla mirror is up to you. Just make sure you get rid of any slackware build configurations if you get it from a slack mirror.
