No slackware mirror in India?
Hello Slackers
Coming from ArchLinux. Installed Slackware14-64bit. While upgrading, I could not find a mirror in India. Is it not available?
By the way, I found that the statement 'Slackware: It just works' is rather an understatement. It works beautifully.
Installation completed without a hitch. Just could not believe it
Only XFCE! Have to remove the unwanted bloat
Hope to find somebody to host slackware in India

Use a US mirror, they're usually the quickest with updates.

If you know someone who can mirror it, and can convince them, then there will be a mirror in India.
I just select the closest mirror with decent speed.

Found this thread while searching for "Slackware community India".
@san2ban = I use slackware torrent to get Slack. Convenient option. BTW I have Slackware 14.1 iso with me. Just finished downloading. If you don't have sufficient bandwidth, feel free to collect it from me.

This thread was a year old when you decided to add a post... not so relevant anymore I think.
