Well,

can we have a little more info? Like, what print daemon are you using? CUPS?

If it's CUPS then you may want to look at the "properties" of the "printer" being used in the print dialog box of Mozilla. I had success with CUPS by changing the default "lpr blah blah" to "lp-cups blah blah."

Maybe I just got lucky with that change...I don't know much about printing with Linux (except that it works for my machine).

Perhaps some here will have more ideas for you if you give more detail about your situation?

Good luck in your printing quest.

A better idea

In Mozilla, in the printer properties, change the print command from lp, lpr or whatever, to kprinter

You'll like I'm sure.

(I also setup a generic Printer in KOffice to use kprinter as well.)

Interesting...you have solved a new mystery for me. I recently had an issue exactly as you have defined, and didn't have the time to fix it. I figured I'd get around to it whenever...but this thread just solved it in 10 seconds.

BIG thanks

Thank you so much!

At first I could change the lpr to whatever I want, Mozilla didn't like it... but Rashkae's hint with the kprinter was reaaly good! Now it works also for me!

Thank you!
