No lossless audio in tidal on chromium

Hi,

I have alien's chromium installed (69.0.3497.100) so I can make use of Tidal's HiFi lossless audi streams. But for some reason I am no longer able to select HiFi quality.

I recently reinstalled slackware64-current, so I'm not sure if I am missing something, or if chromium does no longer provide this suppport?

Cheers, Leon.

EDIT:

When I use Ruario's script to repackage the latest google-chrome (same version as Eric's chromium), all works well.

Kind-of-solved.

I do not have a Tidal account so I cannot test, but their web site states that the lossless codec they use is FLAC.
When you point your browser at https://hpr.dogphilosophy.net/test/ , does the FLAC sound play for you? Here in my Chromium browser it does.

Hi Eric,

yes, the flac demo plays correctly.

I marked the thread as solved, but it would still be interesting to know if other people see the same behaviour.
