I do no always post updates on my blog, but it is easy enough to follow the RSS feeds for my repositories (they are shown in the right sidebar of my blog too).

Apparently, the current kwin binary is expecting a libxcb-sync.so.0 symlink that is no longer created.
So either kwin must be rebuild or add this symlink to libxcb-sync.so.1.0.0.

Just to note that there is always OpenBox. Better, smaller, faster... Yeah, no nice effects, but, still... ;)
