No Download information during Download??
This morning I've noticed that when I download distro.iso from distrowatch.com I get no information displayed about the download progress.
While a previous download was in progress, I didn't think anything was working so I deleted the distro.iso and distro.iso.part without checking the properties of distro.iso.part. Now when I try to download distro.iso I get the following error message: Quote:
from my Downloads subdirectory after the error message is displayed. I've powered off my Laptop, removed the battery, waited 2 minutes and powered up. I get the same type results. How can I get the Download information functional without a re-install, and the iso saved?? I don't get the Download Complete messages either. Thanks. Larry |

Hi,
Try renaming the download file name to something unique. Look at the Downloads directory with 'ls -al'. Do a 'man ls'. |
onebuck,
I'm downloading the ISO again and nothing looks strange in the ~/Downloads Subdirectory: Quote:

Onebuck,
I finally found the problem. I did a reset of Firefox 16.0.2, and my problem is gone. http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/...-most-problems THANKS. Larry |
