No access to FAT32 for non-root user

I cannot get access to FAT32 partition as a simple user.
'chmod' and 'chown' don't help.
I change owner, but permission is still denied.
Only root have it.
How to be?

add umask=0 to the line in /etc/fstab that mounts it. Like so
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows vfat umask=0 0 0

It sound to me that you need to add something else in the /etc/fstab.

Try something like this:

/de/hdxn /mnt/fat32 fat owners, auto, umask=000 0 0
(where x is the device and n the partition number)
the umask=000 will make it available for all users
