This is one of the weirdest deductions I have ever seen... Would you consider a career in politics ?

I understand your discomfort but I think it is misplaced. We can put a name on Slackware. We can't put a name on Gentoo or CentOS or Debian or Ubuntu or whatever. If we could I'm sure people would be saying "Merci Francois" whenever a new release of Gentoo came out. I'm sure people do thank whoever's responsible for new releases of Gentoo, but because there isn't a focal point in one person then the thanks are generic and perhaps not as grating for that reason. We also need to keep in mind that this forum is multicultural and things that seem unusual for some users are perfectly natural for others.

Me too.

I still have a hard time believing a moderator said that (and I still don't really understand what he meant).

Haha! XavierP! Have you dropped that rhyme about "they're changing sex at Buckingham Palace" from your signature because of the imminent Royal Wedding?

Yep! I believe that the current government is watching me through the toaster and is willing to do me for high treason (again) so I'm removing things that may make them look more closely at me.

Anyone fancy storing Prince Harry's fancy dress costume for me?

Put your toaster in the microwave for a couple of minutes, that'll stop them.

brian, was that you on Fox News yesterday opining about the up coming royal wedding?

Sure looked like you! Plus the remarks seemed to fit!

A Slacker in line to view the upcoming events. How do you find the time to be a Slacker & royal watcher?

Happy Slacking!

No, don't think it was me. Was it pro or con? Probably a MI5to6/CIA agent disguised as me. They'll do anything to blacken my name.
