nfs and portmap of 5/17 broken -current

The combination of nfs-utils-1.1.0 and portmap-6.0 in -current is broken. Reverted to 11.0 versions and all is well. The changelog mentions new init scripts but I don't see anything new in rc.d. The scripts in the tarballs are identical to the existing rc.rpc.

I just installed the latest slackware-current and that contains a new /etc/rc.d/rc.rpc file, which no longer calls rpc.lockd (which was removed).

I also tried mounting some NFS shares and reading data over the mount, and that went 100% OK.

Maybe your upgrade went wrong somewhere.

Eric
