Yeah, I noticed it some time ago. What a coincidence... Or is it? ;)

I think it's been like that for years. Might be an omen, I'll consult the i-ching, the tarot, my tea leaves, and my crystal balls. :)

What? No entrails? Seems as strong a basis for overheated speculation as anything else in this thread.

I used up all the stray,or otherwise, pet's/farm animal's/virgin's entrails in this area speculating about the last release.

The prophets that Homer wrote of would have consulted the flights of birds, perhaps a little less gory than many of the previous suggestions :).

Gentlemen, please!

I would suggest following:

-a teaspoon of goats beard,
-a hanfull of frogs spew
and
-a bit of cat's puke

burn it all on charcoal in a grass field in the center of a swamp where no human foot stood for a century...
(did I say on a moonless midnight?)

then

watch the smoke rise up to the dark sky

the star dome's house the smoke climbs to, will reveal the secret date of the arrival
of

the next Slackware release

:D

Slackware 14

As the number can/may foretell it has a very excellent prospect, not only among us slackers but to the world.

Guys, I do not know when Slackware 14 will be released, however i DO have a STRONG feeling that Slackware-Current will receive a massive update a few days after i decide to install the current version on of it on my netbook :)

This has happened to me a few times in the past already, so i try not to update as long as i can but the temptation is there.

What are you waiting for? Go ahead and update to -current. A lot of us want to see more action in the changelogs.
