I feel slackware not suitable to me,
Opensuse gives me everything i need.

Wow! It was alpahgeek that turned me on to Slackware over a decade ago on IRC. When I first met him there I was running Mandrake and he was then running RedHat. In a short time he had switched to Slackware and was very pleased...said he'd found his home. He and ufodZiner and a few others convinced me that it would be worth the curve to go Slack. Alphageek was true to his name even back then and was helpful to everyone. He and others helped me weather the occasional "storm". His website is a wealth of information and Slackware stuffs.

As for IRC it has certainly dropped off but there is still good help to be found there. It was indispensable to me when X was harder to setup and I could run BitchX from console login in one console and cli (especially vi) in another. Freenode is a great server and #Slackware is still quite active.

Despite your large number of posts here on LQ, I think that is a very ignorant comment.
First, "linux" is only the kernel, not the distro. And KDE is not the only desktop environment available in Slackware. Pick any of XFCE, blackbox, fluxbox, windowmaker, fvwm2 and twm if you do not like KDE.
Last, Slackware is not exclusively a desktop distro. It is perfect for using on servers.

No, no. Clearly, You imagined it. Of course, as I'm running Slackware but didn't even install the KDE package-set, and as Slackware is "just KDE based linux", I obviously can't be writing this now, which clearly means that you imagined this too. In which case, you're probably also imagining me as well. If I were you, which I very well may be seeing as we've just concluded that you're most likely imagining me, I'd consult a Doctor while I'm still able to imagine one.

Slackware is great, but other Distros are no less impressive.
I choose Opensuse, Mandriva, Fedora, and lastly -----Sabayon.
