Whew !! Thanks a lot devwatchdog ...That is an elaborate reply...Really appreciate your time on taking pains to give a sincere reply in these days of single word replying and fast messaging!

I agree with you 100% when you say you have learned a lot by breaking and in trying to fix them...I too belong to the same category!

I do have an old laptop which I have sort of refurbished and using for linux...So there is no real problem , even if something nukes the system...However , the pain of reinstalling everything is gr8!
